About Tessa
Hi, my name is Tessa.
I am an Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler. I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
I was born in January 2011 at Koolanahill Kennels near Innisfail in far north Queensland. For the first 8 weeks of my life I lived on a cattle property with my mum Panda, my dad Dusty, my two sisters and two brothers.

Here I am, on the left, playing with my brothers and sisters
When I was 8 weeks and 1 day old one of my brothers and I went in a plane and flew down to Brisbane. My brother went to live at Allbush Kennels and I now live at McDowall on the northside of Brisbane with my humans Paul and Helen.
I attended Puppy School, run by the nice humans at DogTech. When I graduated I even received a pretty certificate. I have also completed basic obedience training, though I still need some home schooling.
My best fiend is Sandy, a Golden Retriever who is only a couple of weeks younger than me, who lives next door.
Things I like to do including cuddling with Moo, crushing plastic bottles, playing with Mallard, long walks, gardening (though my humans don’t like it when I rearrange the garden to my liking), chewing random things, bird watching, jumping on the couch and running around like a maniac.
I sometimes like to watch TV and my favourite show is Doctor Who, I like the sound that the strange blue box makes.
I like the little fairy wrens that live in the front garden, but no matter what I do I can’t seem to catch them. The neighbourhood magpies often stop by my yard to say hi, as does the local butcher bird who likes to sit on the roof and watch me.
